What to expect
Each role is agreed with an employer around the person, so this page carries no vacancy list. Expectations are set by what you can do, and the adjustments you need are part of the role from the start. Employers can offer a paid role.
SHAPE Paid co-design and testing
SHAPE pays people with lived experience to test and improve the places, services and systems everyone uses.
This is paid expertise and co-design. People are paid for skilled work, and what they find changes what gets built.
How a SHAPE assignment works

This is skilled work and it is paid as skilled work. Accessibility problems are cheapest to fix before a product is finalised, and the people who find them fastest are the people who hit them. Organisations can commission or take part in SHAPE.

You do not have to work in one of these settings. Where it suits you, we help you develop an enterprise of your own, or another route that fits what you want to do.
External employers
IT’S POSSIBLE NOW also works with employers and partners outside these settings, so opportunities are not limited to our own projects. Employers can offer a paid role.
