About IT’S POSSIBLE NOW

What kind of organisation IT’S POSSIBLE NOW is, who runs it and why it exists.

  • IT’S POSSIBLE NOW is a UK social enterprise, run as a community interest company, that creates practical routes into employment, self-employment, enterprise and paid co-design. It is for disabled people, people with long-term health conditions and others facing barriers to work. The three routes are BUILD, WORK and SHAPE, and each one leads to earning.

Read more on the About page or see the three routes.

  • It is for disabled people, people with long-term health conditions, veterans and anyone facing barriers to work, and for the people who support them. Organisations take part too: employers, funders, venues and community partners can work with IT’S POSSIBLE NOW by employing, funding, hosting or referring.

If you are not sure whether it is for you, register your interest and tell us about yourself. You do not need to share a diagnosis.

  • No. IT’S POSSIBLE NOW is run by IT’S POSSIBLE NOW COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY, a community interest company (CIC). GOV.UK lists a charity and a CIC as separate ways to structure a social enterprise. It describes a CIC as a special type of limited company set up to benefit the community, with a legal promise, called an asset lock, that its assets are used for its social objectives.

  • A community interest company (CIC) is a type of limited company that operates to benefit the community it serves. The CIC regulator’s guidance says every CIC has a compulsory asset lock that cannot be removed, so its assets, including any profits, are used for community benefit. A CIC must keep meeting the regulator’s community interest test and files an annual report showing that it does.

  • IT’S POSSIBLE NOW is run by IT’S POSSIBLE NOW COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY, registered in the UK with company number 16430786. Ashraf Sharif is its director. The company record is public on Companies House.

The About page has the details under Who is behind IT’S POSSIBLE NOW.

  • Yes. IT’S POSSIBLE NOW COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY is a Disability Confident Committed employer, with the reference DCS050633. Committed is the first of the scheme’s three levels. GOV.UK says an employer at this level agrees to five commitments on inclusive recruitment and employment, and to at least one action that gives disabled people an opportunity. This is the company’s status as an employer.

  • Income is what makes independence real. It pays for the adjustments, the transport, the equipment and the choices that everything else depends on. Plenty of support helps people prepare for work, so IT’S POSSIBLE NOW focuses on the next step: a business of your own, a paid job, or paid work improving products and services.

The About page sets out the reasoning.

  • In April to June 2025, 52.8% of disabled people aged 16 to 64 in the UK were in work, compared with 82.5% of non-disabled people. That is a gap of 29.7 percentage points. The figures come from the Department for Work and Pensions and describe the UK as a whole.

The article Ability is everywhere. Opportunity is not explains what the figures show and what they leave out.

The three routes

What BUILD, WORK and SHAPE are and how they differ.

  • BUILD is independent enterprise: starting or growing your own business or trade. WORK is genuine paid employment, with the adjustments you need. SHAPE is paid co-design and testing: being paid to find barriers in workplaces, services and spaces and to test the changes that remove them. Every route leads to earning, and you can choose more than one.

See all three on the opportunities page.

  • BUILD is the route into viable self-employment and enterprise. It helps you test whether a trading model adds up, remove practical barriers and connect to products, supply, fulfilment, venues or pitches, with mentoring and structured reviews. It looks at customers, sales, turnover and earnings that last, and an idea is where it starts.

    Read what BUILD involves.

  • WORK is the route into genuine paid employment, with the adjustments you need and real chances to stay and progress. It involves identifying a suitable role, working with an employer or host organisation, agreeing clear expectations and reviewing whether the arrangement is working. Each role is agreed with an employer around the person.

    Read what WORK involves.

  • SHAPE pays people with lived experience to test and improve the places, services and systems everyone uses. An assignment follows four steps: barrier identified, change tested, evidence recorded, change adopted where it works. It is paid expertise, and co-designers are paid for skilled work.

Organisations can commission or take part in SHAPE.

  • No. Each role is agreed with an employer around the person, so this site carries no vacancy list. The way in is to register your interest and tell us which route draws you. Expectations are set by what you can do, and the adjustments you need are part of the role from the start.

    Register your interest.

  • That depends on the business, which is why BUILD starts by testing the numbers with you before you commit. Every enterprise carries some risk, and we talk that through openly from the start. The business is yours to run. BUILD records customers, transactions, turnover, earned income and how long trading lasts.

Difability, Gaziana and the wider ecosystem

How IT’S POSSIBLE NOW, Difability and Gaziana fit together, and what the related brands are.

  • IT’S POSSIBLE NOW, Difability and Gaziana work as one connected ecosystem under IT’S POSSIBLE NOW COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY. Difability is the recognition, inclusion and trust framework. Gaziana is the enterprise pathway and practical opportunities to earn. IT’S POSSIBLE NOW brings them together into routes to employment, self-employment and enterprise.

The ecosystem page shows what you can do on each.

  • Difability and IT’S POSSIBLE NOW are initiatives of the same company, and each has its own part. IT’S POSSIBLE NOW creates and tests routes to opportunity. SHAPE, part of IT’S POSSIBLE NOW, finds barriers with people who have lived experience and tests the changes that remove them. Difability turns what has been tested into recognised practice.

    See the Difability page.

  • Difability recognises different abilities and helps turn them into real opportunities in work, enterprise and everyday life. Its site, difability.uk, offers free membership for organisations, a published Standard, recognition at six levels and a public record check. Individuals can get in touch for free without sharing a diagnosis.

Read the Difability page or visit difability.uk.

  • There are six, according to difability.uk: Member, Recognised, Certified, Accredited, Leader and Global Champion. Level 1, Member, is free and is a public commitment, not an assessment. Levels 2 to 6 are assessed against the Difability Standard. Anyone can check an organisation’s level, and whether it is current, by entering its record number on difability.uk.

The article What Difability recognition means explains each level.

  • No. Difability is an initiative of IT’S POSSIBLE NOW COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY, with its own Standard and its own levels, awarded by Difability. difability.uk states that its Standard does not replace the Equality Act, Disability Confident, accessibility standards or other legal or regulatory requirements. Recognition follows practice: an organisation is recognised for changes it has made, tested and kept in use.

  • Gaziana is the enterprise pathway in the IT’S POSSIBLE NOW ecosystem: practical opportunities to earn. On gaziana.com it describes itself as a British platform for independent enterprise, the system behind a network of Gazian Water mobile retail carts. You can read how the platform works and register your interest there.

    See where opportunities are developed.

  • Gaziana takes registrations of interest at gaziana.com from people who want to operate a unit, and from hosts, suppliers, sponsors and commercial partners. Registering interest is not an application, an approval or an entitlement to a unit, stock, a territory or a commercial arrangement. Any arrangement is agreed individually and depends on readiness, fit, approval and funding.

You can also register your interest here and choose BUILD.

  • Gazian is the bottled water brand, and Gaziana is the operating platform behind the network of carts that sells it. gaziana.com describes Gazian as the customer-facing brand and Gaziana as the platform behind the network. Gazian Water has its own commercial structure under Gazian Ltd, a British company.

Both have their own sites: gazianwater.com and gaziana.com.

  • Nuriqa is a digital retail, reuse and fulfilment business, and a practical place for work such as photography, product listings, packing and fulfilment, repair and upcycling, and alterations. Its own site, nuriqa.com, describes a fashion platform that brings together new clothing, pre-loved fashion, responsible reuse and community.

    See where opportunities are developed.

  • No. The settings are Gaziana and the Gazian Mobile Retail Unit, Nuriqa, external employers and enterprises people run for themselves, and you do not have to work in any of them. Where it suits you, IT’S POSSIBLE NOW helps you develop an enterprise of your own, or another route that fits what you want to do. It also works with employers outside these settings.

Taking part

How to register your interest, what happens next and who can take part.

  • It tells us who you are, which route interests you and how you would like us to contact you. Registering is free, takes a few minutes and commits you to nothing. Your details go straight to the IT’S POSSIBLE NOW team, who reply using the contact method you chose.

The article What happens when you register your interest lists every field.

  • Yes. Registering your interest is free, takes a few minutes and commits you to nothing. Getting in touch with Difability is also free, and so is Difability membership for organisations. If you register through the contact form, you do not need to share a diagnosis.

  • Your details go straight to the IT’S POSSIBLE NOW team. We reply using the contact method you chose, with any adjustment you asked for. We talk through the routes that interest you and what would suit you, and we agree the next step together.

Each opportunity depends on fit and on the partners and funding in place, and we will be clear with you about what is available.

  • Yes, with their agreement. You can register on someone’s behalf or ask us about referring them, and the form has an option called “I am supporting or referring someone”. Tell us how they prefer to be contacted, and give the town or city where they are based.

    Register on their behalf.

  • No. Choosing is part of the conversation. On the form you can pick BUILD, WORK or SHAPE, more than one, or “I am not sure”, and we work out what fits together. The route comes after we have listened to your strengths, experience and goals and to what is getting in the way.

    See the three routes.

  • Registering is the first step on every route, and what is available to you depends on fit and on the partners and funding in place. We will be clear with you about what is available. The route is worked out together in conversation, and the measures we publish look at what happens afterwards, such as paid starts, earnings and trading that lasts.

  • Yes. Older people take part as contributors of knowledge and experience, not only as people receiving a service. Skills that experience often brings include sewing, alterations, garment knowledge, quality checking, customer service, bookkeeping, business experience, trades and mentoring. Younger people bring skills of their own, and each learns from the other.

Read more in People work together.

  • Use the Get started page on difability.uk and tell it what you would like to do: find paid work, work for yourself, start a business or something else. It is free, it does not ask for your diagnosis, and you can choose to be contacted by email or phone. You can also email ashraf@hajimail.com or call +44 7955 356126.

    See the Difability page.

  • Access to Work is a GOV.UK programme that can help you get or stay in work if you have a physical or mental health condition or disability. Its practical support grant can help pay for things like specialist equipment, support workers and travel to work, and GOV.UK counts self-employment as paid work. Check eligibility and apply on GOV.UK.

Read Access to Work: practical support at work.

Access and privacy

Adjustments, diagnosis, your data and how to report a barrier on this site.

  • No. You never need to share a diagnosis. The form has no field or question that asks for one, and the privacy notice says we do not ask for or store a diagnosis, a condition or any medical or health information. If you mention something of that kind anyway, you can ask us to delete it and we will.

See Health information in the privacy notice.

  • Yes. Tell us how you would rather be contacted and what would make it easier: a format such as large print, plain text or easy read, a method such as email, a phone call or a text message, more time or a set time, or someone else in the conversation. We treat it as an instruction about how to reach you, and we use it for that and nothing else.

  • Only what you type into the form: your name and email address, a phone number if you give one, the town or city you are based in, how you would like to be involved and which route interests you, how you prefer to be contacted, anything that would make contact easier, and anything else you choose to write. Organisations also say what kind of organisation they represent.

The privacy notice has the full list.

  • No longer than two years from the day you send the form. After that we delete them. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we do that. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything we did while it was in place.

The privacy notice explains your other rights.

  • Yes, at any time. Use the contact form, choose “I have a general question” and tell us you want your details deleted. We will do it, and we do not charge for this. Under UK data protection law you can also ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, limit how we use it, or ask for a portable copy, and we answer within one month.

    Ask a question.

  • The people at the company who run IT’S POSSIBLE NOW. We use ordinary website hosting and email services to receive and store what you send, and those providers can technically access it in the course of running their service. We will not pass your details to an employer, a funder, a council or any other organisation without asking you first and getting your answer.

  • The site uses no analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. Our website host records technical information such as your IP address as part of serving the page and protecting the form from automated abuse. We do not sell your details or add you to a marketing list.

    See the privacy notice.

  • Our target for this site is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It can be used by keyboard alone, text stays usable at 200% zoom, the layout reflows down to a 320 pixel screen, and animation switches off if your device is set to reduce motion. The accessibility statement sets out what has been tested and the known limitations. It states a target and our testing, and it is not a claim of conformance.

  • Use the contact form and choose “I have a general question”. It helps to tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser or assistive technology you were using, but tell us even if you cannot. If the form itself is the barrier, email ashraf@hajimail.com or call +44 7955 356126, and we will fix it.

Employers, funders and partners

How organisations can employ, fund, host, partner or commission SHAPE.

  • An employer can offer a genuine paid role with clear expectations, proper adjustments and a way to progress. Each role is agreed with the employer around the person, so there is no vacancy list. Employers can use the contact form and choose “I represent an employer”.

See the Employ option or go straight to the employer form.

  • A funder or council can fund an intervention, support paid co-design, or fund the evaluation that measures what the routes achieve. Every result we publish comes with the method behind it and the limits of what it shows. Use the contact form and choose “I represent a funder or council”.

See Fund or go straight to the funder form.

  • Yes. Hosting means providing a venue, a trading pitch, or a work or testing setting, and space is one of the hardest barriers to solve. Any arrangement is agreed individually and depends on readiness, fit, approval and funding. Use the contact form and choose “I can provide a venue or host opportunity”.

See Host or the host form.

  • Yes. The Partner option is for organisations that refer people, contribute specialist expertise, add delivery capacity or help test and improve the model. Choose “I represent a community or delivery partner” on the contact form and tell us what you can offer, and we will reply to talk it through.

    See Partner.

  • Yes. Organisations can commission SHAPE or take part in it: accessibility testing and lived-experience co-design by people who are paid for skilled work. SHAPE can test workplaces, recruitment, websites, technology, services, physical environments and communications, and each assignment runs from barrier identified to change adopted where it works.

    Talk to us about SHAPE.

  • Only with your agreement. IT’S POSSIBLE NOW names partners with their agreement, and every result it publishes comes with the method behind it and the limits of what it shows. We also will not pass the details you send to an employer, a funder, a council or any other organisation without asking you first.

    See the partners page.

  • IT’S POSSIBLE NOW measures what happens afterwards, and participation counts are not the test. WORK records paid starts, hours, earnings, retention and progression. BUILD records customers, transactions, turnover, earned income and how long trading lasts. SHAPE records paid assignments, barriers identified, changes tested and changes adopted.

See how we measure what happens next.

  • Membership of Difability is free for organisations of any size. On difability.uk you create an account, confirm your email address, show that you act for the organisation, sign the Difability Commitment and receive your member number. Membership is a public commitment, not an assessment, and the higher levels are assessed against the Standard. Anyone can also nominate an organisation, without an account, as a recommendation only.

Contact

How to reach IT’S POSSIBLE NOW and which option on the contact form to choose.

  • Use the contact form, which opens on the right questions for you, whether you are registering for yourself, supporting someone, representing an organisation or asking a general question. You can also email ashraf@hajimail.com or call +44 7955 356126. Tell us how you would like us to reply and what would make contact easier.

  • Yes. Choose “I have a general question” on the contact form, type your question and tell us how you would like us to reply. We will reply using the method you choose. The same option is the way to ask us to correct or delete your details, or to report an accessibility barrier.

  • Use the same contact form and pick the option that matches you: employer, funder or council, venue or host, community or delivery partner, or a business that wants to commission co-design or accessibility testing. The form then asks what kind of organisation you represent and where you are based. Tell us what you can offer and we will reply to talk it through.
